Obiome lymphatic Facial

This works in harmony with our organs, tightening the skin and boosting blood circulation. This detoxifies the skin while delivering powerful plant extracts loaded with vitamins.

It’s designed to work with your circulatory system- an often overlooked, but vital component of optimal skin health. This organ system is responsible for removing waste via our lymphatics and nourishing our cells and tissues via the blood supply. The circulatory system plays a key role in a holistic approach to skin health.

As a first-timer, you might experience some new sensations, which we like to call the Obiome plasma response. This is a sign of increased blood flow, which lasts up to 15 minutes.

It’s all part of the magic happening beneath the surface.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

  • What is a Cosmedical facial?

A Cosmedical facial is a results-driven treatment performed using advanced skin technology and cosmeceutical products to address skin concerns at a deeper level. These facials go beyond relaxation and focus on skin correction and rejuvenation.

  • What is the difference between a regular facial and a medical facial?

A regular facial provides surface-level cleansing and hydration, while a cosmeceutical facial uses active ingredients, advanced technologies and targeted formulations to treat specific skin concerns such as ageing, pigmentation, acne and scarring.

  • Do medical facials require downtime?

Most medical facials have minimal to no downtime but depending on the treatment, you may experience redness or mild flaking for a few days.

  • Are facials suitable for all skin types?

Yes! Facials are customisable for all skin types, including sensitive, acne-prone and mature skin. Your skin specialist will recommend the best treatment based on your skin’s needs.

  • How often should I get a facial?

For optimal skin health, a facial is recommended every 4 to 6 weeks. However, if targeting specific concerns like acne, pigmentation or ageing, your therapist may suggest a more customised treatment plan.

  • Can I wear make-up after a facial?

It’s best to avoid makeup for at least 24 hours after a facial to allow the skin to breathe and fully absorb the benefits of the treatment.

  • Can I get a peel if I have sensitive skin?

Yes! Enzyme peels and gentle AHAs like lactic acid are ideal for sensitive skin, as they exfoliate without causing irritation.

  • What aftercare is required?

No direct sun exposure (wear SPF 50+)

Avoid retinol, exfoliants and harsh skincare for at least 5–7 days

No intense sweating, swimming or saunas for 48 hours
